If you wear a condom can you still catch an STD? [ view ]
Yes. A lot happens during sexual activity that can make condoms ineffective in preventing STD's. Condoms can break. Condoms can slip off. Fluid produced by the vagina could be infected and spread beyond where a condom covers. Also, STD's can infect many parts of the body such as the mouth, anus, throat, the areas around the genitals and the eyes. How many areas does a condom cover??? What good is a condom on the penis going to do if the infected area is under the pubic hair? The bottom line is... there is no such thing as "Safe Sex" and "Safer Sex" just isn't safe enough.
