I agree with you that love is an awesome thing. However, sex does NOT equal love. If that were true, prostitutes would be the most loved people in the world. What happens when a couple gets older and is unable to have sex anymore? Does their love die? Your opinion of love is very common among kids today, especially when it is presented as such by the music industry. Regardless of how you feel about sex, you cannot deny the fact that millions of teens every year are being devastated by STDs, pregnancies, abuse and broken hearts. Is that love? For instance, 80% of guys who get teen girls pregnant leave the mother to raise the child on her own. The image of teen sex is a lot less appealing after the song is over, the feelings have passed and you are stuck with the reality of dealing with the consequences.
